Meet the candidates on Oct. 16
The League of Women Voter of Sarasota County invites all South Gate residents to a Candidates’ Fair at South Gate Center on Thursday, October 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Candidates on the general election ballot have been invited. They include the Board of County Commissioners, State Representative for Districts 23, 69 and 70, Supervisor of Elections, Public Defender, Hospital Board, Charter Review Board, Sheriff, and U.S. Congress.
This is a unique opportunity for citizens to get to know the candidates one-on-one. Citizens can ask about issues important to them and the candidates are able to learn what is important to their constituents.
Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public, and is sponsored with a generous donation by the Sarasota Gulf Gate Rotary.
